Didn't you just have your surgery a few weeks ago?

You're tired because your body is in recovery still. It will take a couple of months till you are back to normal. Give your body time to heal. I took naps everyday for two months before I could make it all day.

I had surgery on 8/21. My energy level was increasing up until this week, and suddenly I'm exhausted. I read that someone else was really tired before she would suddenly drop weight (like after a stall). Could that explain it?

Not only is your body still recovering from major surgery, but you're running on FAR fewer calories than your body did pre-op. It's a lot to get used to!

I took a nap nearly every day after work for the first few months. I felt like I'd been hit by a cruise ship!

Totally normal.

It was six weeks before I started feeling like myself again and feeling more energy.

I'm in total agreement with the "you just had major surgery, of course you're tired!" camp.
