Victories!
As of today not only have I lost a whopping 100 pounds, I also hit "one"derland. My guess is that it will jump back into the low 200's at points throughout the week, but I saw the number so I'm counting it!
I now have 50lbs for my doctors goal weight and 70 for my own goal weight! And 30 pounds till I hit my driver license weight! (Ha can't believe I told them 170, who was I fooling?)
Non-scale victories: I saw some friends that I hadn't seen since February and they were blown away. Two of my friends legitamently didn't recognize me for a minute. People kept saying how healthy I looked! Yay!
I can cross my legs soooo easily. I know it's not good for your veins, but I just do it so absent mindedly. Before I had to pick up my foot and lift it with my hand over my other leg.
Over Labor Day weekend I went on a two hour bike ride, with a significant portion up hill. And it wasn't a nice little cruise, no no. The group I was with was soaring! I trailed behind, but in general I kept up and I wasn't the slowest. I was sweating and sore but I did it. Then after we went on a walk, explored a giant farmers market, and went putt putting. And I wasn't exhausted. Crazy! My butt was crazy sore though. Ouch.
This is a weird one, but I feel confident enough that I'm thinking of asking out this guy I've liked since high school. I'm proud of myself most for this one actually. I've never been in a relationship because I let my insecurities override everything. Not this time!
Sorry for the long post but I'm just pumped!
It really is. I'm still struggling to visually see the physical changes. But hearing people comment on it really did make a huge difference for me.
