The recipes posted on this site have been very hit or miss. They're often completely inappropriate for someone who has recently had bariatric surgery. I have no idea who picks them out or posts them.

I eat very small amounts of them very rarely. I try to keep my daily carbs under 50g. Many people here go a lot lower than that and couldn't make that happen if they ate potatoes.

Potatoes were one of the primary tools I used to help me reach 475 pounds. I never met a potato I didn't like.

They are not my friend.

Yes when it comes to potatoes I go in to the Bubba character on Forest Gump when he goes on about all the ways to cook shrimp.. That's me and my love affair with potatoes.. Fried, mashed, baked, scalloped. But, they just cannot be a part of my life now.
