Odd ball question...does your feet shrink?

It really depends on how much of your weight is in your feet. I still wear the same size (10, which is really large for someone my height). My shoes do have a bit more room around the edges but not much. The biggest change was in boots - my calves got so much smaller that I couldn't wear the tall boots I bought pre-WLS anymore.

Yup, all of my old boots (wide calf width) are now passed down to other people, they were ridiculously roomy around the calf.

I have a couple pairs of shoes that I bought at my heaviest that are now too big on me, but for the most part, most of my shoes (and lord knows I have enough) fit fine. My heels are more comfortable for sure though, and I suspect that's not only because of the size of my feet, but the less amount of poundage I'm carrying around makes it easier to wear them.

Yes, they do! I was bike riding this summer and my running shoe fell off my foot. Then another time, the same thing happened with my sandals, lol, and they had straps around the top and back. I had to go down a shoe size.

yep, I lost some width. I still have old dress shoes that are too big. Need to ditch them. Being retired I would never wear them anyway. BTW, I regained about a half inch in height that I had lost just to being squished down by weight. Diane S

Yes. You lose the width but not the length

I lost a shoe size, depending on the shoe, a size and a half. I have really wide feet, it's a thing on my dad's side of the family. Narrow heels and wide across the ball of the foot is hard to fit anyway. I'm so much happier now that I can find shoes that actually fit me.

When I was younger, I wore a size 7 to 7.5. After gaining weight, I wore an 8 to 8.5 wide width. Now, after WLS and losing the weight, I am back in a solid size 7 medium width.

I was going to post that I only lost width, but today I'm walking out of my shoes. I'll have to get re-sized and possibly replace several pairs of shoes. :/ It's likely to only be 1/2 - 1 size, but enough to make my pumps not fit properly. :(
