Odd ball question...does your feet shrink?
on 9/10/17 12:08 pm - Amarillo, TX
I am a larger person aside from weight. Big feet run in the family. I'm 6'2" so yeah I need bigger feet.
Does your feet get any smaller?
weird question I know but curious as to y'alls experiences!

Yes in a lot of cases! My mom lost a size an a half during her weight loss, and DH is down 2 sizes. Mostly its width though, that brings them down, weight loss won't do too much about the length of the foot...

My feet did shrink but only 1 size down in width, but also 1 to a half size in length. I'm guessing it's because I have flat feet anyway & the weight loss made it so it doesn't spread out as much as it did b4.

My feet got narrower, which means I can now wear women's shoes instead of men's shoes, but they did not get shorter.

My feet shrank in width not in length... but some people's do.

Since junior high I have worn an 8 medium. But I have purchased mostly 8.5 medium shoes over the past few years, since being SMO. I bought one pair of 8 wide heels to wear to a wedding two years ago, but they were too wide, and at that weight I didn't feel very stable in heels anyway, and wore (and still wear) mostly flats. I anticipate no longer needing that extra half size at some point during my weight loss, and returning to a size 8 Medium. But I could be wrong! Mostly what I look forward to is being able to comfortably wear high heels again, not to mention tall boots! I have a genuine weakness for gorgeous tall boots!
