How much do you pay for therapy?

I'm seeing a therapist through the psychology clinic at my local university and their fee is $10 per visit. You may want to check and see if there is a university that has a psych clinic. I really like this place.

My last therapist was $79. That was the negotiated price with my insurance company, but since I hadn't met my deductible, I had to pay the whole amount.

I have Medicare ... I pay nothing. Most therapists places have a sliding scale of fees. Explain to them your monthly budget .. medication costs transportation rent ...as long as they get paid the majority of the fee I believe they're happy without our contribution.
