I don't come on and post as much as I used to, but I am always browsing and reading. This site has been a great tool for me, to teach me how to become more accountable for what I eat. I've lost 180 lbs so far, and my journey isn't over, and I really hope to take you all along with me. So far you all have helped me through stalls, worries, questions, and much more and I'm grateful to have all of you veterans and more. After my recent visit with my surgeon, he was so proud of me. Whether he was proud that I was meeting his personal goal as a surgeon, or actually proud, I'm not sure, but he told me my surgery was still in its infancy and that my new lease on life would only get better. I believe him, and I'm thankful for him, my family, and you guys who have supported me from all over the country and world. I just wanted to say thanks, and how special the advice I've been given since my surgery is to me.

Thank you for such a sweet comment! I have a long way to go still, and I know ahead of me won't be easy and I'll make mistakes, but I'm confident I can overcome them.
