Yup, totally normal. Many, many people have no restriction with liquids. Consider yourself lucky since this means you should have no problem getting in all your liquids! The more liquid the better.

If you're hungry at this point, it's most likely acid, dehydration, or just your stomach lying to you. Your nerves were severed during surgery, so you can't trust anything your stomach tells you right now. Drink more, take your PPI, and work on ignoring your lying stomach :)

Proton pump inhibitor - meds like prilosec and nexium. Many of us take them for the first few months post-op while the stomach is learning how much acid it needs to produce for its new size.

That should be controlling the acid - but you might need a stronger PPI than the one you're already taking. How much fluid are you getting into your body each day?

With no restriction, you should be having zero issue reaching the minimum which is 64 ounces a day. Better hydration will help with the hunger.

I wish a week out I could at least have SF pudding and the healthiest yogurt I could find. I'm worried when I start puree that I will be able to eat to much. I think I start off at 1/4 cup of puree B, L, and S for 2 weeks.

I would recommend starting out with no more than an ounce. (I bought a bunch of 1-ounce medicine cups from Amazon for this purpose.) And plan on still needing to supplement with protein shakes at that point to reach your protein goals.
