Definitely not used to this!
I am just over a year out and still getting used to my new body. I just can't get over looking down as I walk and not seeing my belly all the time. I can't believe that I keep seeing the front of my pants and the top of my belt when looking straight down. Yeah I've got a bit of a roll that I would rather not have but dang what a difference!

It takes our brains so long to catch up with us. My Pilates coach said to me a few months ago - you are still propelling yourself through space like you weigh 100 pounds more than you do - you don't need as much effort to get around. I spent quite a few days thinking about what she said - and then observing the way I moved and I was still walking, and sitting and standing like a fat girl. When I really started to think about it and how I was moving, I made a concerted effort to move for my size - to do the things I never used to do - cross my legs when I sit, stand straight up, walk and not "shuffle". And in a few weeks, I began to see a difference in my posture, etc.
When I look in the mirror, some days, I still see the fat girl. Some days, I see the woman who is there who put on a suit on Thursday that she wore when she was sworn in to practice law in Pennsylvania in November 1989. And it fit. Nicely. Other than the shoulder pads, it looks great!
It takes a while for our brains to see us as who we are now, not who we were.
Keep on losing!
