Question - Tracking weight over time with daily weigh-ins?

I weigh and track daily. I like it because I can see the graphs and fluctuations which become predictable. Eg for me any sharp drop is always followed by a moderate increase for a day or two before being a permanent drop and levelling.

Like Ann, I weigh daily and track it in MFP. I also keep a spreadsheet and graph calories vs weight. It has helped me in understanding what causes the ups and downs and helps me feel in control. I have one of those old-fashioned balance beam scales as I had to have something completely accurate.

I weigh myself once a week. I found myself getting too obsessed with it when I did it daily and it screwed with my head. I do put it in an app every Monday, no matter what the number is. I like to look at what the history shows, although it's pretty boring for the last 9 months which is great.

I almost never remember to update my ticker on here, although I do update my signature occasionally.

I weigh every day in the morning, after BM.

I only log losses if they stay the same (or lower) more than 3 days, consecutively.

I only log gains if they last two or more days, consecutively.

As I am now in maintenance, I only update the ticker here, if I lose more than 5 pounds and maintain it for a month or more. During active weight loss, I changed my ticker if the lost lasted 3 days (see above). I never gained during my weight loss phase.

I log in both trend weight and MFP.

Another daily weigher here. I only change MyFitnessPal and OH when it goes down. I add it everyday to the MyWeight app and there I can see the daily ups and downs graph, but only I see that. I don't add it to MFP daily because then I get "likes" from people for fluctuating up and down which is weird.

I am firmly in the weigh everyday camp for accountability. People say step away from the scale...that is not for me.

I Weigh everyday and record once a week. Some people use something called trend weight. I just record it in the notes section of my phone. 3 years+

If I had an ideal weight it would be below 120 . But realistically I have way too much muscle mass and even empty fat cells still to keep my set point that low without dieting or other unnatural contortions.

My way to body acceptance is not to weigh - but I look very strictly at my definition and clothing sizes every single day. I figure as long as I'm wearing 1-3 in real life everyday I'm more or less ok .

If I weighed everyday I think I'd go nuts after eating soy sauce or beans - my favorite foods .
