Have any of you used either of these apps? What was/is your experience with them? Do you use the free or the paid version?

I have/use the free version of SWORKIT. I love it- its a great customized work out that can totally kick my butt. With SWORKit, you can design the workout (I.E.- I have a work out called standing custom, so all exercises are standing, not up now, down on the floor for the next.) Each exercise is for 30 seconds, and you do 3 sets before taking a 30 second break. [I wish I could scale the break back a bit sometimes] It will randomly cycle through the different exercises you picked for the duration of time you choose.

I mainly use it in the winter when bad weather keep me indoors, or when I'm on vacation and don't have access to a gym.

That sounds really super. I want to focus on upper body between my next two surgeries and it seems like it has some good upper body routines. It gets great reviews too! It's cool that you can design your own workout, even with the free version. Thank you!

There are no weights in the exercises- it just uses your body weight. And there are no 'reps', just time intervals and you do what you can in that 30 second time frame before moving on into the next exercise. If it seems like it getting easier I increase total time duration or add more challenging exercises.

The free version limits how many custom workouts you can make. I would buy it- just hve never looked into the cost. I won't pay monthly- but would pay a flat fee.

This isnt an app. More like a website. My friend has the free one and loves it.
