Surgery Friday... any tips (for this week, at the hospital or post)?
I froze the Syntrax nectars in these to help get both protein and fluids in easier immediately post-op. These REALLY helped.
I also got VERY tired of sweet stuff, and would put unflavored protein powder in boullion. (Mix the protein powder with a little of warm water first, then add THAT to the hot liquid.)

Good luck!!

An extension cord and charger for phone or tablet. A bathrobe to wear over the hospital gown when you are walking. Those were the things I used the most. I went home wearing what I wore in because my surgery was at 8 am so I was only in my clothes for about an hour on surgery day, Clean undies. It all fit in a tote bag.
Keep on losing!

I suggest the following for when you get home
- Ginger tea bags
- liquid Splenda if you like sweet tea
- Chicken soup protein powder (Unjury - will ship to Canada) if you get tired of sweet drinks
- Bolster cushions for resting and sleeping
- Be prepared for some abdominal muscle pain about 24 hours after you get hom
good luck!
