The implant is a great option before WLS. It does tend to move a little under your skin over time when there is lots of weight loss or muscle gain but it doesn't effect anything and will still be easy to take out when you are ready. It has no effect on your fertility once you have it removed :)

Thank you for this input! It's exactly the kind of testimony I wanted to know, if the saggy skin made it uncomfortable to have the implant or in any way less effective

Good to know! I have PCOS, and am currently on the pill which has made it much lighter and more regular. But hey, if I don't have to have a period, I wouldn't complain if they stopped :P
