stall help
I get that you want something to look forward to, but change looking forward to a cheat meal to something non food related. It could be anything, like a small pair of earrings or relaxing in a nice hot bath with scented candles, etc. Something that you like & can look forward to, rather than food.
If you start tracking your meals you can get a handle on what's stalling you out & you can make adjustments to your day so if you must, you can still look forward to that snack, not meal, & not have it derail your progress.

I don't cheat. If my weight is well below my goal and I am trying to gain weight - I will eat something that is not on my normal diet. But I don't call it a cheat day or meal. I call it "anything meal to gain weight or stop losing."
And it works. The same as it works for you. That one meal - or day - is leveling your loss for the week.
You need to stop doing that, until you hit goal and lose below that. Then, and only then you may have a "treat" day or meal.
You are sabotaging yourself. That's why the doc was not happy with you.

At the risk of sounding har**** seems to me that you did not come into this surgery with the right mindset. The fact that you plan a "cheat" meal into your week while you are still in the losing phase of this journey, says that you are not dedicated to making the lifelong changes that are required for WLS to be successful. If you had surgery so that you could "lose all the weight and then eat the food you used to eat," then you did it for the wrong reasons.
As Gwen said, everything I eat is good. If you mean do I ever eat anything high carb, sugar laden, or nutritionally empty that I used to enjoy that made me fat in the first place? Absolutely not. But I also came into this knowing that those things would never be a part of my life again if I wanted to get this weight off and KEEP it off.
Are you in therapy? If not, you should find a therapist to help work through your issues and get you where you don't think you NEED a "cheat" meal to have something "good."
the further out you are the slower your WL will be. I would take the other advise and make sure you are weighing and writing down your food in my fitness pal or something similar. Trust me- it gets harder and harder the further out you are. you need to reach your weight goal and ideally be a little under that.
