I might give egg beaters a try - looks like they are far fewer calories than eggs for the same amount of protein. I love local fresh eggs but maybe egg beaters makes more sense until goal!

I guess it confused me a little. All protein is 4 calories per gram, so I'm confused by your "Calories per gram of protein" column.

I believe it's "total calories of item for grams of protein."

Like.. the rule of thumb is that we should aim for no more than 10 calories per gram of protein in an item.
