No More Meds
on 8/12/17 11:08 am
NSV time! On my recent visit to my primary she took me off all medications. I still have my medicine prescribed by my psychiatrist but as far as blood pressure and thyroid I am off. After blood tests my weight loss had seemed to fix my wonky thyroid and my BP holds at about 118-120 over 70 when I monitor it.
YAY!!
It's great to get rid of meds, financially and as an indicator of improved health.
I went to take my pills the other day, and kept thinking "this isn't nearly enough pills". I will always have a few with my other chronic health conditions, but it's nowhere near the mini pharmacy I was taking.
Way to go!

Thanks! I hadn't either, really. Expected to be on thyroid medicine my whole life.
Congrats on such a great NSV!
