Just finished 40 mins of cardio on the recumbent bike. Set the program to Pikes Peak so it was all uphill. My Glutes hurt.
I am so jealous. Was working out 6 days a week (4x week prior to surgery) and love it. But have been on crutches and no lower body work for suspected hip fracture from AVN. Of course this morning when I got up to go to the bathroom my hip gave out and I stumbled forward and jammed my toe on door frame and clearly broke the toe and i'm thinking the foot as well.... on the opposite side of my hip. I look like Quasimodo the hunchback limping around. I'm a hot mess! But still losing weight and still doing arms and core when I'm not trying to disable myself!

Trying to increase my walking distance and uphill fitness to get ready for an October hiking trip to Sedona with my very fit friends... Today was a 3.75 mile walk with a substantial hill in the middle. Considering they can easily do a 15 mile hike, I've got my work cut out for me!
