Libido....or lack thereof
LOL - I probably err to the side of over confidence ;-). I have some loose skin, but all in all it's not too bad, especially given the 180+lbs loss. I look pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Certainly a lot better than I did at 333lbs, although I strangely still had a fair amount of confidence then as well!!
I do joke about my Shar Pei-ass, but who doesn't think a Shar Pei is adorable, am I right?
What'ss strange is that I would think a lot of the possible psychological causes would affect my confidence and even perhaps my performance, but that's not really the case. Whatever it is, is killing any and all interest. It would make more "sense" to me if I just didn't have a total and complete lack of interest of desire. That just feels biological.
Again, I could totally be wrong, and the mind is a powerful tool. This is definitely the topic of next week's therapy session! I was just curious if anyone out there went through this as what I seem to always read about is the exact opposite! If it is biological, there's always a chance it will just sort itself out too. Who knows?
Try having sex/engaging in sexual activity 3 days in a row and see how you feel on day 4. Sometimes sex begets sex.
I don't know if you're in a relationship- if yes, then you may want to consider seeing a counsellor for one or two sessions. You could if you're single too, of course, but in that case it's only you that's affected and without the drive you likely wouldn't want to bother going to the trouble.
Hve you tried toys, vibrators, and other things this site will likely censor me from saying? Maybe it's time for something new and different.

I used to have a fairly high sex drive and I feel better about my body now than I ever have before. But... I have zero drive. I'm actually waiting for lab results that should come tomorrow - my doc checked progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone. Fingers crossed that there will be an easy answer.
I hope you find answers. It sucks to go from wanting sex to just.... feeling like I should want sex. :(

This is actually fairly common with guys around the time that we typically have our "midlife crisis". This is one of the things that typically drives us to buy that Corvette to try to get our libido back. Unfortunately most of the time it is hormonal changes in our body that is natural woth aging. With all the hormonal changes you've had the past year I'm not surprised that you're having issues. I would be willing to bet that is a hormonal issue. I certainly don't believe that it is all in your head.
