Kathy s WLS Journey - Hair Nightmare
Thanks kitmouse,
I am trying to be daring in my knitting. Have not tackled a sweater successfully and working on my first shawl. I love those but the patterns require great focus and it's a challenge
I made this hat last fall and love it. Search for Cloche knitted hats free patterns they are so cute! You will love them!

For some reason knitting makes sense to me. I started a lace shawl I month after I first learned to knit (about 21 months ago). A month after that I did my first socks, and socks have been my go-to project ever since. I still haven't tried sweaters, but I have the exact pattern and 1800 yards of Baah La Jolla in blue topaz just waiting for it to be properly sized to a smaller body!
I love these older posts....made me flashback to my teenage years when a hairdresser permed my hair and cut it SHORT. But clearly not short enough because I had poofy, frizzy hair for a year. I also tried to slick it back but in the 80's it was so uncool to not have big bangs.
I have thin hair but a lot of it. Somehow, between the time I was put into menopause 6 years ago and my surgery 3 months ago, my hair turned curly. Finally the hair I always wanted and it's falling out in clumps. Hopefully this will slow and stop in the future. It could always be worse...
