Well here I am, on the losers bench!!

Not sure if they call it that anymore, back in 2005 that is what it was called "the losers bench". Everything went well for my surgery, I went in at 12:35 on Tuesday and was home by 3 pm on Wednesday.

I do not remember much, Kathy's face, me throwing u***** my husband's face, me throwing up....someone knitting in the corner of my room, my drug button,My OH I REMEMBER MY DRUG BUTTON!! could not find my chap stick or were my socks went, BUT I REMEMBERED WHERE MY DRUG BUTTON was!!

My first meal, broth and jello, in regular sized containers. Before I could dig in, the nurse puts some in little 2 oz cps and says, this is all you eat. hmmmmmm.....it suddenly got very real. I had quite a few of 'it suddenly got very real' moments in the last 2 weeks as I planned for my surgery.

For now I am resting, walking, eating my 3 meals. I am doing very well on my protein and water-no dumping at this point. My whole plan here is to NEVER put sugar in my pouch so I don't dump...ah...alass I hear some of you laughing! Well it is a good plan, let's see how it goes!!

Thank you all for you love, prayers and support. I simply finished what my Brother Johnny Ott started 12 years ago, we made it Johnny! We made it to the losers bench!!

....and Kathy, it REALLY is ok to stop posting those beautiful pics of me in my georgous hospital gown now...it really is hunny!
