I'm happy to announce that my appt went great yesterday! I made it to 289 and that is what my surgeon was wanting to set up my surgery date!!! MY SURGERY DATE, IS AUGUST 28TH! MY PRE-OP APPT IS AUGUST 1ST! The insurance gal feels good about my chance of approval for the surgery and wants me to loose about 2-3lbs before she turns in it to be safe which I feel great about. Looking so fwd to my new lease on life and feeling over all healthy. It's going to be struggle and I am blessed to be able to get this tool to help me along. Soooo excited and READY to work towards a new healthy me!!!

Congratulations!!

I had my RNY on 8/23/16, so we will be about a year apart.

I started the WLS surgery journey at 300 lbs. My pre-op weight was 263 and my surgery date weight was 257. Today I weighed in at 161. I'm a slow, but consistent loser. I'd still like to lose another 25 lbs or so.

This has been an awesome experience.
