Haha I had someone like you as a kid. I was trick or treating with my mom & I got a potatoe! Really who gives a potatoe to a kid? I think they were caught off guard when I came to their house, never heard anyone else getting a potatoe.

I have seen the pumpkin and fall decor but, not the candy! I am ok with Halloween candy being around. I LOVE Halloween and we dress up and have trick or treater's but, I am able to pick candy I do not like, like things with Coconut or skittles or something. I would have never bought it this early anyway.
I think my candy weakness is Easter candy for some reason. Those damn bunnies, get me every time, (or it used to). I asked that no candy be given to me this year and I told my hubs i would not buy any. We traveled to see relatives and they made us little Easter baskets and my niece was so considerate and gave me gift cards, and coloring books and silly things.

So, I am home... I have searched the cabinets... Where the eff is the Halloween candy?! Don't even tell me you didn't buy it!

If it wasn't chocolate it would still be here but that's not allowed in my house. I know my weaknesses and just don't allow them in the house. I no longer bake. No will power so just don't have it

Addiction much? Candy Corn. They have custom corns now you know. Try the cotton candy? Valentine's candy has the red candy corn. We all have our weakness or favorites from before WLS. My whole life was about sugar, when it came out how to keep it around. I don't want to waste time rambling about my sugar addiction. Personally, I know if two bites are not enough then the whole bag isn't either. I proved it over and over. I have such a hard time reading these posts. Why did candy bring me such pleasure and what am I going to do without it? Is it like saying goodbye to a friend? I wish I had a support group for withdrawal. So many feelings and a woman can only kick box away so many feelings. Today I focus on the fact that this rawness is new and won't last, it can't. I'll find my way through. Halloween sounds about right. I like tough love, so post away!

I'd have to eat it right away...can't be giving out stale candy to the kids!

Seriously, we always buy Halloween candy on October 31st. My kids used to take left overs I to their stash. Now I take them to work and leave them in the cafeteria.

I used to love the day AFTER halloween because candy was on sale. I look forward to not buying it at all this year. Sorry trick-or-treaters but my house is a no candy zone and my porch light will be off.
