It's the unexpected NSV's that still get Me

I've already had to have my wedding rings resized (from a 9 to 7.25) and truth be told they are loose again but I don't want to pay another resize fee.

Anyway, today I left my wedding rings on the counter today. When I got home my 14 year old son picked them up and tried to put them on his finger. They wouldn't fit him. He said wow Mom, you must have really small hands. (Huh??)

Though he's taller than me, I still outweigh him by 40#. I'm used to having anything of mine be laughably big on others. The idea my rings are too small is weird to wrap my head around. These minds trips happen just when I think I'm getting used to a 'skinny' life.

Reminds me of a funny country song from the 70s... "Work your fingers to the bone, what do you get? Boney fingers! Boney fingers!"

That's great! My wedding band can't be resized because of the material it's made from. When I almost lost it washing my hands the other day, I had to give up. I ordered some silicone wedding bands from Amazon in a 7.5 (I was almost in a 9) and we'll put off replacing my wedding band until I'm stable at goal. :)
