NSV
In the past, whenever I went anywhere with Mr MeanOne, I would have a terrible time keeping up with him. He is 6 ft even and I'm 5'3 when I don't slouch...
so between my weigh, my height and knee and hip pain (residual from a bad fracture with plates and screws and all that fun stuff) I always lagged a few feet behind him...
Last night on our way back to the car from the roller derby in Coney Island (both my teams won!) I was walking at a comfortable pace... No pain...no huffing and puffing... when I heard a voice from the distance...
It was Mr MeanOne..... several feet behind me... complaining that I was walking too fast!
Anybody else have an NSV this weekend?
Love this! My DH is 6'3" and I'm 5'3" and I have been walking faster than him a lot lately too!

Friday night I was over at my parent's place. I had on a pair of size 29's (I have 2 boxes of 30's to 27's from when I first lost weight waiting for me to wear again) and my mother, who had minimal regain, said she wears 29's and 28's. I was like, "No way". Mom weighs 135/140 and I weigh 167. So we hit her closet, and sure as snot, her jeans are 29's and 28's!!! TRIP OUT!!!
That's great! Such a good feeling!
I'm not married, but one of my childhood friends is a pretty active guy who I've never been able to keep up with on walks/hikes, and twice now he's commented that I'm walking fast. I asked him to go bike riding with me and he said no because he didn't think he could keep up with me (I'm slow but can go for a long time, lol).

This weekend I realized I have so many clothes that I really don't even need to do laundry. Prior to, I only ever had just enough (if that) to make it through the work week.
Only load I need to do is my workout clothes. It's wonderfully odd not to have to be tied to the washer and dryer all day Sunday.

This weekend I had planned to do a garage sale. I have planned many times in the past to do one and something always comes up. The heat was insane here Saturday. Even at 7:30 am it was hot and muggy. It was going to be 100+ and humid.
I didn't cancel. My Guy lobbied hard to cancel. He really wanted to just stay in the AC and relax. I did too...but I cheered him on and we pushed through. Lots of work and sweat, but total NSV.
