Calcium suggestions?

Hey folks, currently I'm using the Bariatric Advantage calcium chews, but I've reached the point where I don't want to waste 12g of my 50g carbohydrates on them every day.

Any suggestions for calcium pills? I'd prefer continuing with my current vitamin, I just need a calcium supplement.

Personally, I don't count the calories or carbs in any of the meds, vitamins or supplements I take. I figure, I have to take them forever, so I consider them part of my "baseline." Anything I consume in addition to those, I count.

I've been using these -- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NRQDT70/

It sucks to have to swallow 6 of them every day, but they've got a great mix of vitamins and minerals and my last DEXA scan was solid.

Even prior to surgery, I took Wellesse Liquid Calcium with D3. First discovered it at Wal-Mart, but now I have to order it online. I double up on the dosage each day. Much easier to stomach than chalky horse pills. I've searched for chews and they are all the wrong type of calcium and have some type of sugar as the second ingredient.

You are going to have a lifetime to chose. I've tried every source. Pills are too big and the petite pills you have to take too many.

Calcium patches. Never tried this.

I took liquid the 1st 6 months post.

I keep going back to Bariatric advantage chews. I have them in 250 and 500mg of calcium citrate. I can throw 3 in my pocket and just eat it when a window opens.

The 500 mg chocolate peanut butter chews are very good. If I'm going to be compliant,I have to make it work for me.

Calcium Citrate is easiest to absorb. The pills are big, but they can be swallowed. Just do it one at a time and take your time.
