Scale Help
Have you tried changing the batteries?
I recommend the Nokia/Withings scale as well - in addition to the things Laura mentioned, it also syncs with TrendWeight which is a super awesome site :)

I did, I got fresh batteries a bit after making the post to try. Same outcome, even while holding 15lbs extra weight, so it's just time to invest in a good scale!

I could never afford some of the scales suggested here. In fact, I think spending 30 on scale is splurging!

I'm with KatW, I could never bring myself to pay those prices for a scale! lol
I got this one from Amazon, and it is nice and accurate, very low and looks nice. Paid under $22 for it!

I am OCD about my weight now and it has to be as exact as I can get it. I have one of these at each of my 2 homes: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00065EQJU/ref=oh_aui_deta ilpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought the first one just prior to WLS. I felt that if I was going to make the commitment I needed to have a "serious" scale.
The good news is that you weigh less than you thought!

That is good news! I thought about maybe forgetting the scale completely and just weighing at my doctor's monthly since I have to have monthly appointments as is, but I like to keep track of it. Not being able to watch it would likely irritate me.
I haven't seen one of those scales since I was very little! I didn't know they still sold and made them. I don't know if my bathroom would have much space for it.
You can keep doing that for now as you do more research, but you will not be going to your doctor every month forever.
I have been here on OH for 10 years now. Those who keep off their weight weigh themselves regularly. The ones who live in denial are the ones who do not weigh themselves and are then "surprised" by a 50 pounds gain. That will never be me. Don't let it be you, either.
ETA- I weigh at least once a week. I can do a lot of damage in a week. I can only imagine how much damage I could do in a month!!

Well I didn't intend to stop weighing myself lol. I have already decided to get the Aria, or the Nokia, just not sure which.
I agree with Laura (I listened to the vets and read what they do). While in the losing phase I weighed once a month on my surgiversary. Once I got to maintenance I started weighing every day.
