I did look at the Aria, since you love it I am guessing you have found it to be accurate when comparing it with other scales? I found mine has stopped reading correctly after following a posted suggestion to weigh while holding weights! I tried it and my scale did not budge and I was holding 15 lbs extra

Yes! I just went on vacation and was able to weigh on my friend's scales (she has two, one digital and one an old style). I came home and was within 2lbs of what her scale said. I haven't been to the doctor much since I got it but I'm normally 5 or so pounds more there with clothes (and after food, etc).

I also have the Aria, and really like it. I find the weight to be quite accurate (usually within a pound of the doctor's scale). The body fat % is not at all accurate, but that has more to do with the fact that the method of measuring it these scales use is very inaccurate. I still like the BF% though as it is directionally accurate so I can see it trending down.

I have three scales at home, I regularly use 2. The 3rd one I don't use is digital, but often needs to be recalibrated. I'm wondering if your scale needs calibration? With mine, you have to step on it, let it register a weight then step off. A 'C' appears to show its calibrating. I step back one and it gives me the accurate weight. When Uncalibrated the weight is 3-4# higher. Needless to say- owning two other scales I avoid that one for that very reason.

i have a withings wifi scale that I got as part of a weight loss study. And I've long owned a ta Tanita digital- That's my favorite scale.

Before spending money on a new scale, try adjusting the old one. The best tool I found for delicate adjustments is:

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.

I got tired of digital scales that weren't anywhere close to accurate, so I gave up. I got an analog scale much like this one: (but I don't remember the brand)

https://www.amazon.com/Health-Oversized-Measurements-X-Large -Platform/dp/B002ZJWZNO/ref=sr_1_8_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=14 99539402&sr=1-8&keywords=analog+scale

It's not completely accurate, but it's consistent. Every so often, I step on it and zero it several times in succession. It consistently weighs 5# less than my doctor's scales. (I've many times weighed on it on my way out to the doc's office, wearing exactly what I step on the doc's scales about 20 minutes later.) So I weigh on it and add 5#. The only drawback is that I can't use it for a onderland picture (when I get there) unless I adjust it up 5# instead of zero-ing it out. LOL.

I've had this one for a couple years and I love it and it's quite inexpensive. https://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Digital-Bathroom-L ighted/dp/B001KXZ808/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1496705736& sr=8-1&keywords=eatsmart+digital+bathroom+scale . It gives consistent weights every time.

I have this scale. Inexpensive and seems to work well. Matches the doctor scale on the days I have weighed myself at home and there.

I love my Nokia (was Withings) Body Cardio scale. I tried the Fitbit Aria scale, but there were problems setting it up with my wifi. I researched the problem and a lot of people seem to have the same issue.

The Body Cardio scale measures:
