If one cause was the reason for weight gain, none of us would be obese, because they'd figure it out.

Obesity is the symptom of a problem. In some ways, the lucky people get obese, odd as it sounds. Many skinny people have cholesterol and T2D, and silently are dangerously ill despite appearances to the contrary.

No, it's behavior that drives obesity in the end. Microbiomes and macronutrients are irrelevant to a degree; it's behavior in the end that is the fulcrum. The obesity is just the result of the movement.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
