1 year today!

I haven't been active here a lot because I'm working so much... like 7 days a week most of the time... actually I'm here now... But I wanted to post a quick update. I still feel like the biggg girl even though I get great comments and I have lost almost a hundred lbs. I know that's normal for us to feel that way, but I wish my head would catch up with my body! I have tons more energy and I feel great. Except for the head stuff, loose skin/fat, a sometimes painful inguinal hernia, and some scar tissue under my ribs that's painful sometimes when I move, everything is great. One year post op appt went great. Yay! Looking forward to the next year! Compared to the problems I had before, I think I can handle these small things. Lol. Back to work!

Hi April, congrats on your 1 year surgiversary! You're doing great!

Right there with you! Just had my 12 mo. follow-up this morning. The head stuff is the worst, followed by the loose saggy skin - but I can hide the skin with clothes. Nothing hides 100+ extra lbs., not to mention the health issues that go with it.
