What do you see when you look in the mirror ?
After 13 years from having WLS and losing over 200 pounds, then losing 60 pounds of recent regain I am surprised I am still experiencing body image issues.... I see the photos, I see the size 4 jean tag but when I look in the mirror I am like WTH?
I should look smaller than this? I should yada yada.... I am so thankful for photos Trust me, they got me through my first weight loss imagine challenges and is helping again.
Have you experienced this and if so what got you through? If you are having these issues be sure and take before photos (yes, I know it's painful) and then at least once a month after your surgery. IT WILL HELP

I've lost 80 pounds and my brain hasn't caught up with my body. I still see the same person in the mirror. I know it takes time. My clothes reflect the weight loss, peoples comments reflect the weight loss, the tape measure reflects the weight loss. I will start taking more pictures. I think I have taken only 2 pictures in the last 16 months(I loathe the camera:-) It's painful, but I will give it a try....thanks Kathy!
