My 600-lb. Life Where are they now? Joe and Pauline how refreshing!
After watching a certain person playing the system, cheating the system and just plain not trying this follow up was so touching. Joe's positive attitude and his determination was so inspiring! You wish him nothing but success and happiness. Such a gentle soul .
Pauline? This is why I still watch this show. Just when you think you have seen it all you see something you never, ever would have thought of. When she shared she had not worn shoes in years I was so shocked. But when she tried wearing them and said it was so strange she felt she would fall that was so sad. It makes me thankful and reminds me my journey could have been so much worst. I give her kudos for keep asking the hard questions, digging deep as to why.... And such a giving heart. When she was handing out food and personal items to the homeless I was so touched.
They both deserve all good things to come their way! Congratulations Joe and Pauline and thank you for sharing your stories with us all

I actually was not able to wear most shoes for many years. Over 700 pounds really distorts your feet a lot. It's these little things we take for granted.
I still have minimal trouble wearing women's shoes now (I have always had wide feet, but it's better!) but wow, is it nice to be able to go to the store and buy clothes and shoes and they fit. Yeah, I'm still in plus sizes, but it's nice not needing to wear tents that were special ordered off the internet, that's for sure.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
