Oh well, you're right, i was being condescending, petty, and juvenile and I'll admit that. which I did right above your comment. Sorry but I have like a bunch of people coming at me at once so i may have tried to speed read some things to get through quicker. I absolutely didn't go over there and call her a bunch of names for being rude to me, maybe you found it emphatic, I found it rude. So yes I behaved childishly and repeated her words back to her.

correction, The fact that every reaction has NOT been negative...

Glad to see that you are not being a very nice person.

Did you really expect anything else after flat-out telling an entire group of people how terrible they (apparently) are??

How about the entire content of this thread?

I said other people's posts, this one I'm definitely the OP and I have replied to comments mostly the same tone to which they were directed at me. Now was I rude? you were making a clear point and in reply back, so was I. You were not rude to me, why would I be rude to you?

So here's the thing -- you haven't even had surgery yet. When you are new to this -- this site answers questions, gives you real-life experience, and serves as a support for a dramatic life change. If you look for the long-timers who have been successful, and model yourself after them -- and also watch for those who have not been successful and see what they've done differently -- you can save yourself a lot of pain and suffering.

But right now, you have everything to gain from being here. Consider that those of us who are years past surgery and who've had success in both losing and maintaining really get very little. We pretty much come here to pay forward what was given to use. As such, you do not have the time in to really access which of us are here day in and day out giving back, answering questions and getting very little in return.

The great majority of us "meanies" are here every day giving back... and as such -- having put in YEARS, we've pretty much seen it all, heard it all, and can spot bull**** justification, WLS failure behavior, and a troll/fake account from a mile away.

Which I absolutely agree if you read my whole post. I agree 110% but there's never in any point in time ever any reason to outright name call someone right on their own post. If they don't like it, they can move on.

So calling someone a name on their post is wrong, but doing it in another thread completely is totally OK?

Is it that time already? The gap between "the vets are all meanies" posts seems to get shorter and shorter.

This is not a site that generally welcomes hand patters or forum nannies telling us all how to post. How long have you been here? 3 weeks? OK then ... Welcome! I'll know where to come next time I need advice on how to make friends on a new site I suppose that you are at least making an impression, just maybe not the one you intended. Thanks for livening up a Thursday evening though.
