OH, people do come here for help right?

you're right, and that's why i posted it here and not on the actual thread. I didn't have anything nice to say about what was said on someone elses thread, so I moved on! this is MY thread and I choose to have somewhat of a spine and stand up for those without a strong voice. when a person wants to do it to me, I can turn the other cheek when I'm feeling the willpower to do so, but when someone else is being bullied? thats not okay with me. maybe someone else getting bullied is ok with you, not with me.

So... I'm confused. To you, "moving on" doesn't mean taking the high road.... it just means creating your own "stage" in a separate post for being rude and condescending towards others?

It seems to me you're kicking up a bunch of dust in order to make it sound like you some internet savior because you don't have enough to do. Nobody is being "bullied" here because we could all walk away from the keyboards if we chose to do so. We're all adults. At least, I think we are supposed to be...

Good quote, Hala, as history has been rewriiten. I wouldn't be surprised if OH contributes to that by deleting the whole thread.

Hopefully, the OP got some insight with the interraction.

THE STORY OF THE SPARROW

On a beautiful winter day in Siberia, encouraged by the warm rays of the sun in a clear blue sky, a little sparrow left the security of his nest to fly and frolic in the air, but the 40o below zero temperature quickly overcame the imprudent bird who fell to the ground, frozen, and found himself buried in the snow where he would certainly have died in an instant. But by chance a cow trotted by at that moment, and at the very spot where the sparrow was struggling for his last breath, she dropped a large soft cow-dung on top of the bird. The warmth of this dung-bath resuscitated the moribund sparrow. He was so happy, he raised his head out of the cow-**** and started to twitter joyfully, which drew the attention of a wandering homeless cat who delicately pulled the sparrow out of the **** and devoured him.

The moral of this story: Your enemy is not necessarily the one who ****s on your head. Your friend, however, is not necessarily the one who pulls you out of the **** And besides, one should never twitter when one is buried in ****

or I could tell you countless stories of people committing suicide over online bullying and what would have happened if only just one person would have stood up for them? I don't need to be a follower. And i definitely don't need to be an ostrich on this one.

I don't think you understood my point. That's OK. I forgive you. no hard feelings.

Luv this! I'd send this to the President, but he'd probably wouldn't get it either.

Attempting to be a forum nanny isn't super productive. Doing this in a super hypocritical way as you have is even less productive. You can't bully people into behaving the way you want them to. Be the change you want to see in the world - don't beat people over the head with your insults.

Thanks for your insight Gwen. I wish I could have found a more eloquent way of putting to words what I was feeling but I absolutely won't be one of those people who stand by and watch someone actually call someone names and be excessively rude and nasty.

Please explain to me, how you think I am bullying someone into behaving? Did i call a person out in particular and say something mean and nasty to them or what?

Your post here is full of accusations and "mean and nasty" language. You've called those who post "witches," mean and nasty, etc. You're attempting to tell people that they should act the way you yourself are NOT acting - which is completely uncool.

The internet is a microcosm of the real world. People here are never going to behave the way you want them to or the way you think they should because they're individuals and you can't control them.
