Menstruation symptoms stronger after surgery?

A million times yes for me. The cramping was horrible (I had not had bad cramps since college), my periods were more longer and more frequent (about every 2 weeks), and I bled like a pig was slaughtered. It was horrible for about a year, then things went back to normal.
