Confess - just how old/out of style are those skinny clothes?
Well I got rid of smaller clothes (not really skinny) years ago because I was fat for so long. So I didn't have much to go look at. Wish I had some of that old stuff. Vintage clothing is popular here - bell bottoms and all. I would wear them. I wear tye dyed tee shirts and such in our little hippie enclave. Its funny to see all these college kids trying so hard to look like they are from the 60's. They have no clue... Diane S
I wore a dress yesterday that may have been from the 90's but still stylish, simple shift type dress. The clue is that the fabric is linen so no Lycra in sight. I went through all of my bins of old clothes at the beginning of my journey and tossed any out of style clothes and just hung on to a few of my favourites.
though I will say I did hang on to a lot of my old pants and wide legged pants sure were a thing in 2005.

My original "skinny" after surgery was 2009. The jeans I bought then are still in style. I had several people try to talk me into ditching them in the years since, but I held on tight. I also have tops i bought in London and Italy that I've pulled out, as well as Ralph Lauren polos. All timeless. Hallelujah!
