Confess - just how old/out of style are those skinny clothes?
CATHY- I graduated in 1975. From looking at pics in my Senior yearbook, we were wearing Red Snap jeans (one snap, in the front-jeans came in all kinds of horrible colors), and MATERNITY looking smock-tops, that we ever-so-proudly made, with our own hands...
All looked quite snazzy...with the "Sun-In", that turned our hair an awful shade of Bozo Red...
*ETA:
Here's a good example. This is one of the clubs, I was in. Front row. My bestie, and I, both sporting our "Preggo Shirts"

We were still frying out hair with Sun-In in the 80s, our moms wouldn't let us get highlights so we bought Sun-In from Walgreens with out allowance and baked ourselves in the sun by the pool.
Just ended up with fried hair.
Good times.

I'm finally back into most of my "skinny" clothes - YEAH! It was probably around 2008 when I outgrew them and I had only had them for about a year. I lost a lot of weight from 2006-2007 but didn't keep it off for very long. I've never been a trend setter/follower, so I think most of them are still pretty much in style and if they aren't, I really don't care. As for age appropriate, I was in my late 40's then so already "old" by a lot of folks standards.
