Wednesday I took my first fitness class ever in my life at my gym. The classes are free with my membership, so I plan on getting every penny of my money's worth. I took low impact strength training. I have never worked out really and did not want to over do anything, so took the low impact to see. My inner thighs felt like 1000 hells! It was tough, but I didn't feel like it was too hard, so I will be going back! And today I took my first yoga class. It was light/chair yoga since I am worried about not being able to get up and down off the floor, but I really enjoyed it. It was relaxing, and challenging, and I could go from class right out to the gym and into my workout. There I was able to increase my time on the stationary bike. It was 2 minutes the other day. Today I did 2 minutes, then stopped for a minute to breathe, then 2 more minutes, then stopped. I managed 10 minutes before I knew it was time to move on. It probably would have been better for me to go 10 minutes without resting, but I will get there in time.
Overall, I'm really proud of myself, which isn't something I've ever felt before. I've always only been ashamed of myself, so this is a big change. My psychiatrist says she sees a big change in my attitude and personality as well, that I am not the same as when I first began with her, where I was always sad and crying. Instead now I have good things to tell her, and am excited for my future.

Thanks! I am so pleased with how things are progressing for my health. My scale number is a minor things for me compared to the new things I am doing for my health.
