Ugh Chewable Vitamins

I dislike my chewable vitamins too. I crush them to a powder with the back of a spoon in a small bowl, spoon all the powder (from 2 chewables) onto the back of my tongue, and drink some water. I hardly taste them and once the powder gets wet from my first sip, it goes down really fast and easily. Very little tasting like you get from chewing it.
I take a gel cap vitamin.
I think giving food addicts vitamins that tastes like candy is idiotic.
I hate chewable vitamins.

I was able to consume chewable Centrum vitamins prior to bariatric surgery but afterwards they make me nauseous and gassy. The reason is because I'm now sensitive to Sugar Alcohols, which are chemicals that end in "-itol" (e.g. Xylitol, Sorbitol, Maltitol, Mannitol), and which are often in chewable vitamins.
I started the Bariatric Advantage Chewables, which were fine. Then I switched to Centrum Silver Chewables, I think Citrus flavored, fine also. Now I use the Bariatric Multi Chewys. Dark cherry flavor and I like them. And I figured I might as well go with a company that specializes in vitamins for WLS patients.
