Hi Members

It's spring and Mother's Day is this weekend We all know the number one day for eating out is Mother's day. What are you doing for Mother's Day and how do you plan on staying compliant?

My son and his family will be out of the country so it's me and the doggies. They are planning on fixing dinner for Mommy High protein, low carb please

Absolutely adorable picture Kathy! My family and I combined Easter and Mother's Day together last month for various reasons. So this Mother's Day it's just mom and I. For the last 10 years or so it's become a tradition that I make her mother's recipe for homemade cinnamon rolls with maple frosting. I am surprising her with her car completely detailed this year, inside and out.

Awwww Kristi, that sounds wonderful. That is so interesting because we use to make cinnamon rolls for breakfast on all our holidays too

I haven't put thought into the 'food-side' of mothers day. Mostly it'll be a regular day for me. If I do something extra-- it would be at Breakfast- since I love breakfast food. But I'm not going out of my way for anything. So whatever we have in the house. I hate eating out for mother's day because everything is so crowded.

My husband is going to have a "boys' day out" with my son so I can take a nice long bike ride-- I'm hoping for at least 25mi!

Good luck! I would love to learn how to ride a bike someday. I don't know what weight is a good weight to start. I don't want to be too heavy for a bike.

You can ride a mountain bike at a heavier weight with no problems! I know folks who've started riding at 300 or so. With a sturdy frame and wide tires, there shouldn't be an issue :)

My younger son, and DIL normally fix brunch, for me and her mom. I'll eat light tomorrow...and all of NEXT week, to make up for it!!

I am not a mom, but I have bought my grandma a new kindle and handbag for mother's day and have a music box I bought her with candy.

I feel like holidays are the easiest days to stay on track. There are tons of protein options and lots of talking to add to meal.
