4 months today!
I had gastric bypass surgery on January 12. I've lost 73 lbs since my highest weight and 60 since surgery. I now weigh less than when I got pregnant with our oldest child. I've gone from a size 3X-4X and 24/26 to XL (L if it's Old Navy) and 16/18.
Last Monday I finally started adding exercise in to my daily routine and I'm on Day 12 of the 21 Day Fix. This week I started walking on my lunch hour. I used to struggle to get in 6000 steps on ny Fitbit but yesterday I had 8300. I'm building myself up to 10,000.
I've been very fortunate to not have had any complications so far. My first blood work was good - my ferritin actually doubled from my pre-op test. Vitamin D is still low so I've had to increase that. I'm very thankful for all the advise and support from this site- especially the RNY menu crew and my good friend Daisy.
In my accountability group for the 21 Day Fix we use post-workout selfies to motivate and encourage so here's one of my favourites from this week.

Way to go!
And I just have to chuckle at the "L if it's Old Navy." Seriously. Old Navy and their vanity sizing :P

You are doing AWESOME!!! I have the 21 day fix, I tried the first workout and nearly died, but that was a year ago when I was 280lbs, I should revisit the workout soon, I had my RNY March 26/17 and I'm down to 22lbs.
Take care, Sonja
I've done their workouts off and on for the last year and a half. I subscribe to their annual all access pass, so it gives me lots of options. I may try a couple of different programs on the weekend as I'm looking for something a little different for when the first 21 days are up. I'm also going to sign on as a coach. I just really love their programs, and becoming a coach will help me to be more accountable
