Okay so i am looking for sources for the vitamins I am going to need.. I found a great multi-vitamin (okay I like Flintstones complete) and I have found many sources and choices for 500mg B12 sublingual. But I am having a tough time finding a Calcium Citrate plus Vitamin D chewable. I mean I have found a few, but they are 250 mg per tablet meaning it's five per day and a bottle will last about 2 weeks. Also have seen some gummies, but holy smokes they 7g of sugar per serving.

Any suggestions

Where I had my RnY - gummies are not allowed. Better check with what your centre recommends.

The list I got from my Bariatric Team says gummies are okay for calcium supplements, but not gummy multivitamin because they don't contain Iron. Anyway, like i said all the gummies I saw were full of sugar. Thanks for the message though.

I recommend Biotech vitamins. I've been taking them for 11 years and have really good labs. You can buy them through Vitalady.com or through amazon. (Vitalady had biotech bottle her vitamins -the bottles are bigger and a *****eaper, but they are not always in stock).

As for multi's dump the Flintstones unless you are 12...and get a good quality multi. I take Vitamin Shoppe's men's vitamin (not the one that is extended release). As for the calcium citrate...learn to take the big pills. They can be crushed or chopped in half....but it's SO Much cheaper.

I know Celebrate Vitamins sells a sample pack of a ton of their products. Not sure about Bariatric Advantage or any of the other bariatric vit cos. but it was a nice way to try everything. I found some favs and then rotate between those because I need variety after all these years :)

I've looked at many of the Bariatric sites and it seems as though they are very expensive. I'll have to do more research on them.

Most of the calcium, chewable or pill, will requires you to take 2 to get 500mg. I just dealt with the expense of the chewables till I was able to swallow the pills- which for me was 4 months. I got mine from the vitamin shoppe in the beginning. Now I get my vitamins from BJ's.

You take one multi and 640 of calcium per day, with a DS? That's all?

I hope you have your affairs in order.
