About me... I have been married for almost 11 years and I have a 3 year old son. God willing after I am recovered I can have a few more.

I work in emergency services/ law enforcement as a 911 dispatcher. This was a dream career until I finally realized it was slowly killing me by enforcing my food addiction. I am greatful there are such good addiction specialists out there.

I run a unique treats Bakery. At this time it is very small, only about 40 dozen treats a week. If I had my wish this would take off and be my full time gig.

I am a pretty big sports fan. I grew up a MN Golden Gopher, I married an O-H-I-O State Buckeye. So falls are pretty consumed with sports. My husband is also very into hockey, it has become my life too. My goal is to get our on the ice with my son and skate.

So yeah that's me!

Do you bake the treats yourself? Pastries and sweets always were (and are) my weakness. I love everything sweet. I've been trying to find healthier "sweets" like ripe blackberries and mangoes when I need a sweet snack and feel that addiction rearing its ugly head!

I bake everything myself. This week after I am more recovered I am going to start trying some gluten free, low/carb options and see what I can come up with. Being surrounded by sugar all day sucks a lot, certainly when you can't/ choose not to sample it. This weekend my special is blueberry zucchini cake with lemon frosting. Hopefully I have enough energy to get started those farmers markets are calling my name.

Here's a gluten-free peanut butter cookie recipe that everybody loves. One cup of sugar, one cup of peanut butter and one egg. Bake at 350 for if I recall correctly, 12 minutes. This'll make a dozen absolutely wonderful cookies.

I love this thread! I'm a mom to a soon-to-be 12 year old boy. My one and only child and I love him to pieces. My favorite thing to do is travel with my two road dogs-my son & my mother. For 2017, we are planning a trip a month--so far, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Disneyland, Legoland & San Diego. For the winter holiday, we are taking a cruise around Mexico/Caribbean. I want to get back to Ireland.

Seeing all those places sounds absolutely amazing. I've always wanted to go on a cruise, they seem like so much fun. It is going to be a very busy year for your and your family!

How fun... I am married 25 years to my best friend and HS sweetheart. Two girls ages 15 and 13. Keep us hopping and remind us how uncool we are!! We love Disney and are Disney Vacation Club Members. We purchased the timeshare when the girls were 3 and 1 and try to go every 2 to 3 years.

I also love all animals! I have one dog that we rescued from the shelter at age 6 two years ago and 3 cats also rescued.

I love decorating and flea markets and antiques. I love HGTV and could watch it for hours!

Also love fashion and having fun with clothes, shoes! I have too many but love that I can wear now compared to 9 years ago and carried away a bit!!!
