Does anyone have any creative ways of making their morning coffee into a delicious protein drink?

For me, I use Premier Protein Vanilla Shake as creamer. Add 2-3 oz and it works like a charm.

I have tried Chike Protein Coffee but it is best cold.

I'd love to try chike sometime but it is too high carb for me to justify this early in my weight loss process I think.

Very true. I didn't try it until a year out.

You can use a protein powder as creamer, but you'll need to temper it first or it'll clump. Just like adding eggs to a hot liquid.

Here's a how to for that process - https://food52.com/blog/6621-how-to-temper-eggs

treat the coffee as the hot liquid and the protein drink as the eggs.

Brewing your coffee very strong would help to counter the dilution from the shake.

I do the same as others with Premier Protein but I do a whole 11oz shake and about 4-5oz of coffee brewed strong. I like that it gets me my shake and a good amount of fluids in one drink.

If you like iced coffee?
I have not actually tried it as yet, but I did buy, some low calorie iced coffee in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. My plan is to add it to my "Nectar" Vanilla bean torte PP. and make a coffee shake/smoothie.

I am experimenting with some recipes currently, it's fun.

What do you think?

I buy Dunkin iced coffee and mix isopure unflavored into and stir until it's dissolved. I don't drink hot coffee so I can't offer any advice with that.
