You can rest. You had major surgery- you should be tired. Rest, hydration and protein are your priorities now. 'Mushies' won't magically give you Energy.

Everyone's tastes are different. Some people like Fairlife milk, I love optimum nutrition double rich chocolate with unsweetened original almond milk, some people love unjury chicken broth, some people love homemade broths, some people love unjury "unflavored" protein powder added to stuff, some people love isopure drinks..

You've just got to experiment and figure out what you like best.

Fat free unsweetened soy milk is surprisingly yummy with some protein powder. The soy milk alone has about 9 grams of protein. It was on my list of appropriate liquids so I figured I try it and I love it. It comes lactose free if you're lactose intolerant. Best of luck!!

You just had major surgery 5 days ago! You will feel a little better every day, but you will still be a little tired for quite a while.

Being a little dehydrated will make you feel blah. Lots of extra fluids will help just about every malady there is. And get 60 to 80 grams of protein. Take your vitamins. And take a nap.

Forget Tasty. Take your protein, and other fluids, like MEDICINE, if you have to...an ounce at a time...if you HAVE to...BUT GET IT IN...fluids are MANDATORY

And REST...Sip, walk, rest. REPEAT

Sip, walk, rest. REPEAT

Seriously...

Tired is normal. Give your body time to heal. It was about six weeks before I felt like myself again.

Make sure you're drinking plenty (64oz min). Dehydration causes fatigue, too.
