Instead of denying your sweet tooth do little swaps like getting the Atkins endulge chocolate candies or Hershey's sugar free chocolate sub diet Dr pepper for the regular track all in MyFitnessPal or something. Lower your carb intake should help if I want a cookie I'll grab a Murray's sugar free vanilla wafers and if I want a taste of ice creams I buy Halo top (so good!! ) The whole pint is only 240 calories and great on carbs (I only take a few bites but it helps) trying to force yourself to be good is a good way to fail so being a little naughty might work for you...
