What's the 411 on drinking sparkling water?

If you tolerate sparkling H2O, go for it. As long as it's calorie-free. It's a myth that carbonation will cause your stomach to explode.

I was originally told that I would never be able to drink carbonated drinks (or beer) again, but, since I have no reflux the Dr said it was ok as long as I tolerated it. My husband is finally home from Africa and we went out to dinner with friends on Tuesday. I had a white wine spritzer as my "starter" while everyone had their appetizers. It was yummy. I had two bites of chocolate cake with raspberry sauce...also yum.

No problems with pain, gas or reflux so I got my Soda Stream out of deep storage last night...

The entree I chose, salmon, tiny red potatoes and grilled asparagus lasted three full meals even after I fed most of the potatoes to my dog.
