What did you do about underwear?

I remember when I first lost weight, I held my chonies up with my jeans, until they were far too large to be held up any longer.

this time around, I have Soma's and they are holding up rather well for three year old chones. I really LIKE Soma. They hold up really well.

This topic is so funny, my daughter and I complain all the time about are underwear being to big. I am 3 1/2 weeks post op sleeve, but I lost 40 pounds before the surgery. I think cotton is the worse, it doesn't stretch as much. I was told to try Barely There, because they will stretch a lot.

Bras were a problem for me - as my cup size remained the same...just lost weight everywhere else. I cut the hook closure off the back and sewed it up. The bras fit great until I needed a smaller size.

I have already "customized" a few bras ...

Just look for budget pantirs, you won't be wearing a size for very long...i buy a pack of cheap cotton granny panties. I noticed that on Amazon prices vary by color and pattern, last pack was under $1.00 a pair. I also get a 3 pack of stretchy ones for work, $3.00 a pair.

I was a (tight) size 11 to start fit into a regular XL or size 8 now. Got some high cut Bali scamps on sale at Macy's in a few sizes.

Bras and panties were the only things I bought brand new, and you definitely don't want to wait too long to change sizes....especially with a bra

Totally agree - but the fewest cheapest things on your way down. Save for maint. I took mine in for awhile but sewing up the side seams, but that only gives a size or two. Eventually you need to buy a new pack.
