What did you do about underwear?
I've gotten to the point where most of my underwear is uncomfortably big. I ordered two packages of undies from Amazon today one in a size 9/XXL, the other a size 7/L (I'm currently wearing size 12). What have you done to keep the cost of underwear down? I've been buying my clothes from thrift stores, but undergarments are definitely not something I'm going to buy there. I've been finding that I'm shrinking faster than I thought I would because last week I fit into size 20 pants and this week those pants are too big and I now fit into size 18. I honestly didn't expect the clothing thing to be so frustrating.

spandex granny panties
They hold in the skin and one size lasts for a whole lot of lost pounds. I am a cheapo. I buy the $3 ones, at WalMart. They are starting to come in some colors, other than black and white. They come in regular firm and extra firm.
I can't imagine wearing anything else

I bought really super cheap undies from Amazon. These, specifically - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HUS6WRU/
I just got a pack a size and then do laundry often. Ditto for bras. I get 2 bras when I buy new ones and just wash them often. (Except I don't get cheap bras, since they're not something you want to go cheap on.)

I think I bought a package similar to those actually. Some of my older panties will work for a little longer, so hopefully I won't have to increase my need to do laundry too much ;-)

Since I can now wear normal plus-size panties instead of the special order Size 15s I used to wear (eeek!), I buy Just My Size packs of 6 cotton briefs at Walmart for $12-14. Like Gwen, I just do laundry a little more often, but I think that's a cheap price per size. I'm also at the point now where I'm down to losing about 2 pounds a week, so it's taking a little longer to go from size to size.

True story.
When I was going through the rapid weight loss phase I wore a lot of skirts and dresses. It was just easier to belt them and make them work for a longer period of time. I neglected to buy the proper sized undies. One day I was walking through Walmart and my "way too big" undies fell to my feet. I discretely reached down to retrieve them from around my ankles, looking around to see if I had been observed. I shoved them in my purse and swiftly walked to the lingerie department and put a package of small undies in my cart.
I'm sure I showed up on store surveillance video and the employees got a good laugh.
Moral of the story.... buy the undies.... save the embarrassment.
I'm so sorry but I actually just laughed out loud! Even woke my dog up!!! :)
Best. NSV. Ever. ;)
I can only recall changing out underwear sizes once. I wore my plus size 22/24 right on till I started buying a regular XL. I still wear the XL's today, with some L's bought here and there.
Never paid attention to cost, but found I love the warners 'no pinching/no problems' hipster style best.
