Day 8 of my 21 day exercise plan
Work was insane today. Then i hurried home from work because I don't want to miss my cross fit class but was overwhelmed by the state of my house when I walked thru the door and so, I did the most logical thing... I took a nap.
When I woke up a b d went downstairs I discovered that today at some point "someone" left the utility room door opened so twelve 6 week old chicks "free ranged" in out downstairs family room... I did manage to dust and vacuum the living and dinning rooms and sweep the kitchen floor. I corralled the chickens but left the mess for my (dumbazz) kid to deal with when he gets home from work. He's going to have a long night.
I am late for the class but I feel like I made a comment to exercise every day for 3 weeks so I'm going to the gym and do 5 k on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the rowing machine. When I get home I'm going to indulge in a long naked hot tub soak.
Maybe I got off anti depressants too soon?

Ohhhh noooo. Baby chicks are a mess to deal with in the right cir****tances/place, I can't even imagine them "free ranging". I hope you have hard flooring

I love you dedication Aggie.I too refuse to make excuses and walk at least 4 miles every single day. I made a commitment to be healthy and I will do it. I've missed 2 days in the last year and both times I was physically sick. Some days when the schedule is an early morning day my boxer Lily and I walk in the dark. Once I start missing days I'm afraid missing would be easier and easier. Keep up the great work my dear.
Thanks everyone! I have only miss one day at the gym in the past 13 days and that was because I spent 6 hours doing hard labor in my garden.
Yes we have hardwood floors but unfortunately we don't have hardwood sofas or chairs...Family room still smells faintly like a barn yard... chicks are going out into the chicken yard tonight.
And I lost 4 pounds this week!
