Halo Top Ice Cream?

We have Ralph's... think it is a local chain. The SF Java chip ice is 105 calories 22 carbs and 2g sugar.... not the best but could be a lot worse...

I'm not buying it now because it's awesome. The Sea Salt Caramel is the best. You've been warned...

I had no idea what the nut. value is/was on mcdonalds ice cream, all I know is that it is plenty for me. I never used to be able to tolerate ice cream.. anyway.

The wine, beer and ****tail question was more based on sugar. since most have a very high carb/sugar content, does that seem to trigger a dumping effect?

Yea, I'm a darn lightweight when it comes to alcohol anyway. 1 glass I'm done done done. I just didn't want to risk a scary dumping.

How about fruit? Does fruit cause a dumping issue also?

Fruit causes dumping for me. My body sees all my favorites ( I loved the really sugary fruits, of course..haha! ) as pure sugar.

I could eat a small amount of any fruit until I was about 2 years out. I had some pear chunks one night and got so so so sick afterwards. No more fruit for this girl.

Those recipes look amazing! Thank goodness I don't have an ice cream maker or else I think I would try to replace every meal with protein ice cream! Would be a lord please save me moment.

I was never a big ice cream eater, but someone posted about Halo Top a while back so I thought I might give it a try for an occasional treat. Umm...no. It's nearly $6/pint here, and there is NO ice cream in the world I want bad enough to pay that price, lol, so I'll pass.

We are in the same boat. I am too cheap to pay that for something I probably shouldn't get started on in the first place!

I use to buy it and switched to Carbsmart.

Sorry halo is expensive. It is good....but again expensive and the texture is harder than ice cream. I find that chocolate carbcarb smart tastes much more like an expensive ice cream than the Halo.

I just make my own using premier protein and 2 tbs sugar free pudding mix. Throw it in my ice cream maker and it is amazing!
